What is a chamber of commerce?

A chamber of commerce is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization dedicated to protect and improve the business climate and quality of life within a specific region.

We are a membership organization with over 100 years of experience working to strengthen business and enhance the community in the region. Our mission, as the Greater Watertown – North Country Chamber of Commerce, is to promote and support business and industry, to enhance the community in which we live, work and do business.

How can I file a complaint about a business or company?

The Greater Watertown - North Country Chamber of Commerce is not a government or regulatory agency, and therefore has no authority to investigate how companies conduct business, nor are we able to accept complaints. If you have a complaint about a Greater Watertown business, please contact the Better Business Bureau at (716) 881-5222 and/or the Attorney General of New York.
