JEFFERSON COUNTY – The Greater Watertown–North Country Chamber of Commerce has opened applications for the Jefferson Leadership Institute Class of 2026-2027.

The Jefferson Leadership Institute is a comprehensive leadership development program designed to cultivate informed, engaged, and effective business and community leaders in Jefferson County. Applications are due by June 18, 2026.

“The Jefferson Leadership Institute is about cultivating the talent that exists in our community and creating space for it to grow,” said Kaylee Millward, Executive Director of the Greater Watertown–North Country Chamber of Commerce. “By connecting individuals to each other and to the broader community, we’re strengthening leadership capacity and supporting the people who will continue to move this region forward.”

The Jefferson Leadership Institute will meet September 2026 through June 2027. As part of the program, participants will complete and present a SOAR analysis on an existing program, initiative, or organization in Jefferson County. This project-based approach allows participants to apply their learning and support ongoing community efforts.
